Khoshunda Williams is a native of Tyler, TX. Her nursing career started in 1995 when she acquired her certification in vocational nursing.
She then began her career as a licensed vocational nurse (LVN) at Specialty Hospital located in the former East Texas Medical Center-Tyler. In 1998, she graduated from The University of Texas at Tyler and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. She then transferred to the medical surgical intensive care unit and assumed role as “charge nurse” of a sixteen bed unit. During her tenure as an intensive care nurse, she received her certification in critical care nursing (CCRN) as designated by The American Association of Critical Care Nurses. Khoshunda returned to college again in 2009 and graduated in August 2012 with a Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner. She is currently employed at the Family Circle of Care in Athens, Texas. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spoiling her four legged son, Donovan Williams.
